La Cantina in Lilongwe is Malawi’s first and only restaurant dedicated to traditional Mexican food and drinks. We use fresh, local ingredients whenever possible and bring a uniquely Oaxacan flare to every meal.
Our bar serves craft margaritas and great cocktails by an outdoor fire pit! We created a beautiful atmosphere with delicious food and fantastic drinks. Sit outside chatting and then move inside for a laid-back dinner of Malawian style Mexican food. Among many delicious Mexican dishes, we serve tasty taquitos, beans, salsas, chicken mole, steak and shrimp tacos, but really you can’t go wrong. We are the spot for a date, a laid back work dinner, or just hanging out with friends and family.
